Spanx for the Memories

Miss South Carolina week arrived!  I dragged the old pageant gown box from underneath my bed, blew off the dust and proceeded to pray that some garment with rhinestones fit. Outfit after outfit, the mirror was not too kind. UGGH. Finding the perfect outfit and dealing with weight issues is one flip-flop women do not like! My Blessing Through Grief

A copy of “Bury Me with my Pearls” was resting on my coffee table; it seemed to beckon … “take me with you.” It was like a divine voice was speaking to me. I threw the book into my suitcase and quickly zipped the bag, and off we went to Charleston. I had a strange feeling something special was going to happen. After a brief lunch, Thomas and I visited a Verizon Wireless store. The Beautiful Ugly of Low Tide

When I was a child my daddy would put his beloved boat, The Never-No II into the water by way of the family boat ramp into Abbapoola Creek.  This ramp is still a tradition that is enjoyed by many family members today.
