Some people decide to “switch teams” while others “switch teams” and decide to look like the other team. Such is the case with Bruce Jenner.
Opinions are flying all over the place. Most folks are not afraid to express how they feel-both positive and negative. There is only one person who knows more about this situation than anyone – Bruce Jenner, or Caitlyn.
I was in awe of Bruce Jenner when he won his gold metal in 1976. Jenner was man-pretty then. Well, now she is still pretty … just in a different way.
I actually met Bruce Jenner at a National Speaker Association meeting a few years ago and other speaker friends thought that he looked like a woman.
I was wondering what Jesus would say about this. Jesus was a way cool guy who liked to hang out with folks who were not in the norm. I like that. He loved everyone and seemed to cut to the heart of the matter. The question is: what is the matter or what was the matter or does it really matter?
What I do know is that Bruce Jenner has felt like a misfit and odd person. He did not fit in with the “norm” of society and has been troubled. Now I ask you, who amongst us has felt the same way at one time or another? Will the transjenner fix his issues? Who knows.
I know that we are to pray for others. I also know it hurts the body of Christ when followers of Jesus jump on the bash bandwagon. Just because we don’t “get it” does not give us a license to say ungodly things.
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me. Matthew 25:40
Pass this on to the ‘brethren” and “sisteren” who made need a little reminden.
